92 days count-down to Hong Kong Pride Parade! We need 100 volunteers!
** 100 volunteers needed for both frontline and backstage operations
September 22 – October 31
Outreach: Distribute leaflets at Gay-friendly Locations (10-20 volunteers)
Translation: Chinese to English, English to Chinese. Translation needed for articles and announcements (5 volunteers)
Random: Preparation work, Props making, Logistics..... (30-40 volunteers)
November 1 Pride Day
Reception: Warm welcome to overseas, mainland and Taiwan gays and lesbians. Must know Mandarin or English (10 -20 volunteers)
Parade Lieutenants: Help to establish parade format and discipline (50 volunteers)
Flag holders: Holding big Rainbow flag, the Pride Flag, maybe caught by the media (30 volunteers)
Photography: Must bring own photography equipments (10 volunteers)
Decoration: Must work and standby at start or end point of the Pride parade.
First Aid: Must hold relevant certificates (5-10 volunteers)
Stage/Backstage crew (5 volunteers)
